Celebrating World Book Day

The National Culture Fund is celebrating World Book Day with great pride. Discover the variety of exceptional Bulgarian editions financed by our programmes throughout the years.

(1) The Sound and the Fury by William Faulkner, translated from the English by Krastan Dyankov. A candid portrait of American Southern life in the early 20th century that is paradigmatic of the Southern Gothic genre. Designer Dora Ivanova. Nike Publishers. 

(2) THE DOGMA 95 MANIFESTO. REFLECTIONS ON THE LATEST BULGARIAN CINEMA by Elitsa Mateeva The book is an in-depth study of one of the most provocative movements in contemporary cinema – Dogma 95. The book is both a scientific study and an essayistic diary of a personal cinematic mission.
