OPEN CALL FOR APPLICATIONS UNDER PROCEDURE BG-RRP-11.024
The National Culture Fund, in its capacity as the Monitoring and Reporting Structure under the Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Republic of Bulgaria, announces the opening of a call for project proposals under Procedure BG-RRP-11.024: Grant Scheme “Presentation to the Bulgarian Public of Contemporary European Productions in the CCIs Sector.”
- Opening date: June 27, 2025
Objective of the Procedure
To enhance access of the Bulgarian public to high-quality cultural productions by encouraging demand and distribution and by promoting adaptation to digital opportunities for the dissemination and marketing of cultural content.
This initiative also aims to address societal challenges related to European identity and cohesion — notably the absence of "bridges" connecting various societal groups and territories. These include issues such as social exclusion, the need for stronger intercultural connections, and the development of a shared sense of belonging grounded in our cultural diversity and common heritage.
The ultimate goal is to reinforce social values, identity, democracy, and community engagement through culture.
Eligible projects must involve the presentation and/or distribution in regional centers (oblast cities) across the six NUTS2 planning regions of Bulgaria of existing contemporary European cultural productions in the CCIs sector.
